Aberystwyth Business Club is delighted to have been accepted onto the Partnership for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund here in Ceredigion.
This is a really important Partnership for us to be involved in. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UK SPF) is a central pillar of the UK government’s ambitious Levelling Up agenda and a significant component of its support for places across the UK. The primary goal of the UK SPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK.
The inaugural meeting was held at Penmorfa in Aberaeron on March 15th. This was a chance to learn more about UK SPF, funding available, and to discuss with other partners in the room the upcoming themes for that funding, alongside other requirements, ideas and so forth.
Following on from the meeting, the Aberystwyth Business Club has joined forces with Aberystwyth Town Council and Menter Aberystwyth to put together a joint bid during the open call funding for the UK SPF. We hope to find out more about our bid during the middle of May.
There will be funding opening up from the UK SPF during May – keep an eye on our newsletter as we’ll let you know as soon as we know, when the funds are open.
